Biography
Dr. Yuhao Jiao, M.D., M.Res, is now a physician and postdoctoral fellow at Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. He completed his degree from Tsinghua University and the University of Melbourne. He has a great interest in the field of cancer immunology, mostly focusing on the roles of Innate Lymphoid Cells and their roles in carcinogenesis. He participated in the development of the anti-leukemia drug Venetoclax (ABT-199) and receives royal distributions. His work on optimizing the preconditioning regimen of bone marrow transplantation by manipulating NK cells and studies on depicting the immune landscape of endometrial carcinoma have been widely cited. He is currently working on exploring how NK cells and other subsets of innate lymphoid cells affect the early carcinogenesis of gastrointestinal cancers.
